Connecting Claude

ChannelPlan speaks MCP — the open protocol AI assistants use to work with apps. Connect it once and you can ask Claude things like "what's due this week?" or "move the podcast episode to Editing" without opening the app.

The connector URL

ChannelPlan's connector URL is:

Connect from Claude.ai or the Claude apps

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Paste the connector URL.
3. Claude sends you to ChannelPlan's own sign-in, then asks for your approval on a consent screen. Approving connects Claude to your account — it can only see what you can see.

Connect from Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http channelplan https://channelplan.app/mcp

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in the same way.

What Claude can do

Exactly what you approve on the consent screen, and nothing more:

• Read — list your boards, read a board's cards, search cards, and report what's due.
• Write — create cards, move cards between lists, assign teammates by email, and add comments.

Claude never sees your password, and everything it changes is recorded on the board's activity feed, marked as done through Claude.

Seeing and revoking access

Settings → Connected apps lists every agent with access, what it may do, and when it was granted. Revoke cuts an agent off immediately — its very next request is refused. The system log also records every call an agent makes, including reads.
